Emily is incredibly passionate about working with photograms, as she believes it to be a process which connects the appreciation of classic photography with the physicality of painting.
The work began off the back of some donated darkroom equipment and old fibre based paper.
Beginning with sketches from pre existing images, majority of her work focuses on concepts and subject matter which relate to the female form - depicting this in a way that feels truly organic.
